Dunford Family // Arboretum. Dallas, Texas

Look who’s back to regular blogging! This summer has been quite the adventurous and charming one for me. Now that school is in session I am back to blogging! It feels good to be back to work, and doing something I love SO MUCH! I hope everyone has found, or is searching for their passion. Life is too short to to not be excited to wake up every morning and do what you love!

Enjoy these exquisite children…

This picture makes my heart sing!…

Its WA-SHINGTON. NOT WARSH-INGTON.

I want to do a little exercise real quick…

Think really hard about the person you admire most in life.

Picture their face.

Speak there name.

Think about how much you love them.

…now times that love by 10. … now 100.

…….

You are now starting to come close to realize how much I LOVE, adore, admire, and care for my cousin Jen. I just got back from visiting her and my extended family in Washington. She just had twin baby girls!! As in 2. TWO! Oh and did I mention she gave birth naturally? AMAZING RIGHT? That is just one of thousands of reasons she is my hero!

Below are pictures from my trip… WARNING! Picture overload below.

That’s my brother on the right. He came to visit all the cousins too. I WUV MY BROTHER!

I would say the most enjoyable part of the trip was lounging all day, doing nothing but playing with family. PURE BLISS.

no worries… she is changing the dogs diaper.

Isn’t my cousin Jen the most beautiful thing you have ever seen?

I ended my trip with a twin family photoshoot. It was short and oh so sweet.

Bubbly Bath Time. {Baby James}

“Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.”

All the time I see little moments pass right by me… and sometimes I cringe at the

fact that I KNOW I will forget that moment. And forgetting moments is, well — painful. That is where photography comes in… after all those moments and memories have been forgotten by the brain, photographs remain to remind the brain what the heart has held on to. A photograph is a way to hold onto moments. A way to remember life. A way to remember love. A way to touch a moment in time that has been forgotten.

I had the greatest opportunity to photograph baby James’ first bubble bath. HIS FIRST! I love capturing “firsts.” First step, first kiss, first time giving birth…. I love it all! And I hope you love these pictures!

***WARNING***WARNING***WARNING***WARNING***WARNING***

If you are at all baby hungry, and don’t want a baby at this time, please avoid scrolling down. Also, if your heart can’t handle the amount of cuteness below… once again, don’t scroll down…

Okay funny story… So remember that time I did a free shoot giveaway (p.s. more giveaways are coming!!)? Well Kristen(the mom) entered. Since adding me as a facebook friend was a requirement, she did and it allowed me to peek into her world and see who she was… Well guess what I found out? SHE WAS ONE OF MY HIGH SCHOOL TEACHERS. But not just any teacher, one of my faves. She was so great. She taught adult roles, which was a breeze… but quite useful in life, and at the time she was dating her now husband, and would share dating stories that integrated in her lessons. Being a senior and thinking I was sooooo mature all I wanted to do was get married, so her stories would give me butterfly’s and make me dream of finding true love:)

I was so happy when she contacted to do pictures. I fell head-over-heals for her family. I knew upon meeting them that they were special. I hope you enjoy the pictures!
